A recent study aimed to compare the mental effects of anxiety levels in pregnant mothers with Gestational Diabetes (GDM) compared to pregnant mothers who do not have GDM and experience high anxiety levels. It was discovered that mothers with GDM had a higher level of anxiety due to pregnancy complications associated with GDM. This research shows mothers with GDM tend to have higher mental effects during their pregnancy and may increase complications as the pregnancy progresses.
