Billion Step Challenge in St. Lucie County

Healthy St. Lucie - Billion Step Challenge

The Healthy St. Lucie Coalition launched this annual Billion Steps Challenge in January of 2018, to encourage residents in St. Lucie County to move more.  The goal of this FREE challenge each year is to earn a billion steps as a community.  Now in year 5, Healthy St. Lucie hopes to recruit even more participants in 2022 to make a commitment to their health, including the wonderful teachers, students, and families in our community.  Physical activity, eating healthy, and maintaining a healthy body weight can help decrease the risk of developing serious conditions, such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and cancer.  Establishing physical activity routines can help maintain a healthy weight and reduce the risk of long-term health impacts.

Sign Up Today for the Billion Step Challenge
